We are Hiring an Assistant Plant Manager for our Juneau, WI Manufacturing Plant. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our manufacturing
Salary: 75,000 per year with bonus potential
This Role is a Direct Hire Opportunity with excellent benefits and compensation structure.
Duties:
- The Assistant Plant Manager directs and coordinates the day-to-day activities within the plant.
- They ensure that all processes run smoothly, aiming for high performance and efficient production.
- They oversee production levels of staff activity and performance.
- This includes managing production employees, and maintenance teams.
- The Assistant Plant Manager develops processes to increase productivity and enhance overall performance.
- They analyze operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
- Ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed is a critical aspect of their role.
- They maintain compliance with safety regulations, BWP and operational guidelines.
- The Assistant Plant Manager assists in the onboarding process for new hires on as needed basis.
- They provide training and educational materials to production members as necessary.
- They monitor equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- If needed, they arrange for repairs or replacements to keep the plant running smoothly.
- Administrative tasks include producing daily progress reports, managing schedules, and handling inquiries.
- They may also support in managing budgets, prepare presentations, and handle calls and correspondence.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plant operations (Manufacturing).
- Understanding of Production and regulatory requirements for operating plants.
- Proficiency with Oracle, Asset Essentials, Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership attributes, and exceptional organizational abilities.
